Hi Friends!

Wow, are we ever getting some sunshine.  Don’t you just love it?  I really have a good time playing in the water.  I have a little pool in the backyard now, and mommy and daddy took me to the biggest sprinkler ever!  Good times.

Gosh, lots has been happening but I’m not really sure what to tell you about.  I am talking A LOT more these days, so that’s fun.  It is nice when mommy and daddy know what I want.  Lately, what I want is GRAPES.  Lots of ‘em.  Of course I say "bwrape", but they get my drift.

Last week grandma came over to babysit me a few times; that’s always fun.  One time mommy and daddy went on a motorcycle ride.  Check out this helmet!!  And the time before that they went out to a fancy dinner.  They clean up pretty nice don’t they?  Grandma brought me some great new books about cats and fish.  I really love to read with grandma.

Oh!  And it was also my friend Clara’s second birthday.  Can you believe she is already two?  Crazy!  We got to have pizza and juice.  Yum. 

Well, I’m going to have to keep it short today because I am headed out to grandma’s house.  Don’t forget to check out my pictures!

Oh my!  Over a month since my last post!  Sorry friends.  I am a busy boy.  I’ve posted two batches of new photos for you to get you caught up.  As you can see the one thing I haven’t done is get my hair cut   Daddy thinks it is way past due; mommy likes it curly.  I guess mommy is winning so far.

Highlights:

Mommy and daddy and I went hiking, and on our way home we stopped in for my first trip to…. McDonald’s!  Salty greasy goodness!  I was instructed to not get too attached to the place, but I sure did like the fries.  And the free bib!

We’ve had several great trips to the zoo.   We got to see the new penguin exhibit and the new tree kangaroo, and ride the carousel.  In fact, mommy and I were there just this morning.  Our main mission today was to see the giraffes, and that we did!  I just yelled "giraffe" all morning so mommy had no choice but to take me   It was feeding time so we got to get up really close.  I pointed out it’s eyes and ears and knees and feet.  Giraffes are my new favorite.  And by the way, giraffe is the only animal name I say.  All other animals are identified by the noise they make, including roars, croaks, pants and meows.  No wait!  I also say peacock.   Also, we’ve been to the zoo so often lately that I’ve made a connection between chicken wire-type fencing and animals.  Now anytime I see that kind of fence (even if it is blocking the vent to the crawl space under the house) I say "moo!".  I mean heck, it must be fencing in a cow under the house, right?

We visited grandpa Bob and grandma Valorie for grandma’s birthday a couple weeks ago, and I got to jump on the trampoline with daddy!  Very fun.  And we went out for a yummy dinner and I was such a good boy!  I stayed in my high chair almost the whole time.

I got to lick my first beater on Mother’s Day   Mommy made whipped cream and it was REALLY yummy.  Daddy showed me how to lick it. 

I have been talking a lot these days.  Some of my favorite things include: yelling out "ma ma ma" anytime I see the moon; asking for any food that is offered to me in a "boe!" (bowl); and making a siren noise at the sight of any large, red vehicles.

I love the lettuce spinner.  A lot.
