Hi Friends!
Mommy thinks this picture is just the funniest thing ever. I can’t really figure it out. I suppose I have been a bit grouchy lately; I wonder if that has anything to do with it?
Anyway, I’ve had a pretty busy time these last few weeks. The sunshine finally came last week, if only for two days. We had a nice time playing at the beach in sand.
I got to taste my first ice cream cone! I didn’t really like it actually. I had my cucumber slices instead. Silas and I had fun splashing around in the back yard on Monday in the backyard.
Before that, mommy and I had to run some errands and I was getting pretty sick of being in the car and shopping cart, so she took me to the coolest place… Petco! We looked at fish and snakes and turtles and birds and these great little mice, and even ferrets! Mommy didn’t like the ferrets. Not at all. Anyway, it was a really fun place to see little animals
Uncle Tom’s birthday was last week, so we went out to dinner with the family to The Keg. It was fun! They even brought me crayons and a cup with a straw
But after a few minutes I was sick of being stuck in the high chair so mommy and daddy took turns showing me the cars in the parking lot.
THEN… the Easter bunny came! What fun! I got to wear my bunny hat, and have breakfast with Grandma Deane, Uncle Ryan, and Auntie Emily (and Buck!) and then in the afternoon we went over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house for dinner and an Easter egg hunt!
That bunny sure was good to me. I got TWO Easter baskets in the morning and an egg hunt in the afternoon. What fun! Mommy tried to help me taste my chocolate bunny, but chocolate is yucky. I didn’t like it. Oh well, mommy says more for her.
Today is a dark and raining Monday. Where did my sunshine go? Mommy and I went to the zoo this morning right when it opened because it wasn’t raining just yet and we thought we could visit some of the indoor animals if it rained. What a great zoo day! We went to the day and night exhibit (you know, the one with all the snakes!) and we were the ONLY people inside! Really! The ONLY ones! We saw snakes and a lizard (it scared me), and turtles, and a crocodile and all kinds of other things. And then in the night exhibit we saw everything! Usually it is crowded and hard to see the animals but today we saw bats stretching their wings, sloths slowly moving along, porcupines, bush babies… all kinds of things! Anyway, good day at the zoo. Then we saw the grizzly bears last, and again, no people! The bears were just lounging so I enjoyed looking at the fish
I suppose that’s it for now. It is raining really hard. I’m glad we are warm and dry
But wait! Grandma Deane bought me the best rain boots! Maybe I can talk mommy into taking me puddle jumping!
