Well I had hoped to post a message more quickly than last time, but somehow the time gets away from me. What with the naps and play time and all, who has time to type? Anyway, 2008 has been a great year so far. On New Year’s Eve mommy, daddy and I went over to Aunt Kathy and Uncle Nick’s house for a party. I got to be the party mascot… baby New Year! We brought my pack ‘n play along with us so that when I was sleepy I could just go to bed. That didn’t take long. I think I conked out at about 7:30pm. Mommy and daddy enjoyed the party with their friends and then all three of us slept over and enjoyed a New Year’s Day breakfast the next morning.
The New Year’s Day festivities continued with dinner at Grandma Deane’s house with Great Uncle Len, Uncle Ryan, and Aunt Emily. Everybody got to eat crab legs! They were so huge and scarey! I hit the bottle instead.
Then on Monday my swimming class started! What fun! I still don’t have any photos, but I hope to post some soon. I got to wear the best little wetsuit ever and bob around with mommy and my class with two other babies and mommies. We sing songs, float on our backs and our tummies, and soon we will learn to dip our heads underwater! I’ve had two classes so far, and the first one went better than the second 
But this week Grandma Deane is going to come and take pictures so I will do my best to have a good time. It was just a little chilly last time I think… although the pool is 93 degrees

Speaking of PEPS, my baby friends sure are getting big! Have a look in my photo gallery for a few more pics. Our official PEPS group has ended so now we meet every other week to just hang out and talk about baby stuff. Last week we talked about starting solid foods! I can’t wait! I am the littlest in the group and everyone else has already started foods, but mommy and daddy say I’ll be throwing peas across the room soon enough. Fun! I can’t wait!
And speaking of eating… guess what I got today! A highchair! As you can see by my photo, I am going to LOVE it. So far I have just been playing with toys on the tray but strained carrots here I come. I really like sitting up high on the chair and seeing what is going on in the kitchen. I can watch mommy and daddy cooking and eating their dinner. Its fun.
What else? Grandma Deane came over for a while to hang out with me last weekend while mommy and daddy went out to a movie and dinner. We had fun I love to play with Grandma. In fact, I think she is coming over again tomorrow because she will be in the neighborhood. Good times.
I suppose that’s it for now. Oh! And I am more than 5 months old now if you can believe it. My half birthday is just around the corner!
